Stade Francais sign Leguizamon

Juan Leguizamon has been signed by Stade Francais, the French club (as if the name didn’t give it away!), leaving London Irish, the club he has played for for the past 3 seasons. Leguizamon will be the 6th Argentine to play for Stade Francais, and will join his Argentine team mate Juan Martin Hernandez.

Since Leguizamon did not have a European passport, it meant that he was limited last season in the games he could play in. This wasn’t helped by the emergence of Richard Thorpe, his rival at number 8. Overall he played 60 times for the Exiles, since signing from San Isidro, a club in Buenos Aires.
