Smith leaves London Irish to become new England attack coach
Brian Smith, the London Irish director of rugby has left London irish to become the new England attack coach. He is the first appointment by Martin Johnson since he became England manager. He joins the curent coaching set up of:
- Mike Ford (defence)
- John Wells (forwards)
- Jon Callard (kicking)
- Graham Rowntree (scrummaging)
Brian Smith was an international player, for both Australia and Ireland, before taking over the role at London Irish and taking them from a rather boring team to one one that challenged at the highest level, including a third place finish in the Guinness Premiership and a semi final in the Heineken cup.
