Simpson-Daniel should be fit for start of season

Gloucester

James Simpson-Daniel, the Gloucester winger is on course to be fit for the start of the season, after recovering quicker than expected from a shoulder injury that resulted in him needing to have surgery in the off season.  After playing through the pain for much of last season, it was decided that he need to have the operation on his arm, and was expected to be out for at least part of the upcoming season.  However, doctors recently checked up on the shoulder, and are very happy with how the surgery went, which means that Simpson-Daniel is able to step up his training.

He hopes to play in Gloucester’s preseason matches at the end of August, against Cardiff Blues and Glasgow Warriors.
