Scottish lock didn’t break his leg - only sprained it
On Saturday, Scottish 2nd row Jim Hamilton was stretchered off in the game against Ireland with a suspected broken leg.
He left the pitch on one of those nifty little golf buggy carts that they have at airports, albeit on a stretcher. I am presuming that he wasn’t that joyous about getting the chance to have a ride in one, as he was in agony with what was thought to be a broken leg.
Luckily X-rays showed that there was no break and that it was just a very bad sprain.
However, he is very unlikely to play another game this 6 nations.
