Saracens Sign New Center

Saracens

Saracens have signed a new center, Brad Barritt, on a three year deal. Barritt, who used to play for the South African team the Durban Sharks who play in the Super 14, can also play as fly-half, helping Saracens to provide cover for that position as well as at center. He has played 58 times for the Sharks already, and is only 22.

He joins Saracens two other major signings - Steve Borthwick and Michael Owen - as Saracens look to strengthen their squad in the hopes of pushing for both the Heineken Cup (they got to the semi finals last year) and the Guinness Premiership (not even a top 6 finish last year).
