O’Sullivan Out - was this the most expected piece of news ever?

Eddie O’Sullivan, the Irish coach, has resigned.

He has had a rather rubbish run of it lately, and while he seemed to be making progress with Ireland a few years ago, he had a miserable world cup and 6 nations.

I rather think that this was one of those fabled jumped before he was pushed things. It was on the cards for a long time though, at least since the world cup debacle.

I will be interested to see who the new Ireland coach is going to be.
