Ospreys Win EDF Energy Cup

The Ospreys won the EDF Energy Cup against a very miserable looking Leicester, who although they had a large amount of the posession, never really looked like scoring. The final score was 6 - 23 to the Ospreys, with the Ospreys looking like they could score more tries in the final 10 except for some last gasp defending by Leicester and a forward pass by the Ospreys.

Leicester never looked like winning, and looked very slow and laborious throughout, with the only highlight being Murphy the full back. Ospreys always looked the better team.

The best part of the game was the Northampton Saints supporters who were there for the previous match, which was the EDF National Trophy final, out sang both the Ospreys’ and the Tigers’ fans. There must have been a few people wondering about the signing of oh when the saints come marching in during a Leicester V Ospreys match. So sweet to watch.
