Latham To Make Saints Opener?
Chris Latham, the Australia and Worcester full back says that he reckons that he could be fit to start in Worcesters first game of the season against Northampton Saints. Latham, who is recovering from a torn Pectoral muscle is hoping that doctors will give him the okay to play in the match. He has already embarked on an extensive weight training program, and is anxious to play in the first match of the season.
Latham was one of Worcester Warriors two major signings of the summer, both of who are currently injured, with Hal Luscombe being the other one.
It would be good if Latham is fit for the start of the season, so that Northampton can then beat Worcester at pretty much full strength, rather than win and have to listen to any excuses of how Worcester had so many players injured.
