Lamont has broken face, wont be playing any more rugby for a while

Rory Lamont, the Scotland winger has sustained a facial fracture during the game against England on Saturday. He was taken off on one of those little gold buggies having had Iain Balshaw’s knee and his face meet at a very fast rate of knots, due to the slippery nature of the pitch as it was raining very heavily and they both dove for the ball. No ones fault, but it did look nasty on the replays. I imagine that it made quite a noise when they actually made contact.

Yet another injury to go down on the list. At the end of the six nations, I am going to make a list of every single injury that occured during it, and see if there were enough to make up a full team.
