Justin Marshall leaves Ospreys and signs for Montpellier
Justin Marshall, the ex All Blacks scrum half has left the Ospreys, and has signed for the French side Montpellier on a one year deal (with a one year option after that).
Marshall signed for the Ospreys in the beginning of 2006 on a two year contract and then took up the option of a third year in 2007, which should have seen him through to the end of the 2008/9 season. However, he has now gone to France, meaning that the Ospreys are without an international scrum half, as Mike Phillips, the Welsh scum half is currently injured. As well as this, Martin Roberts has left to join the Scarlets, leaving the Ospreys with just Rhys Webb as the sole fit scrum half available.
Chances that the Ospreys are currently looking for a new scum half? Very High!
