Henson Signs 3 Year Deal

Gavin Henson, the Ospreys and Wales centre has signed a new three year deal that will see him playing for the Ospreys until 2011. He isn’t the first Osprey to sign a new contract in recent months, in fact, 12 Ospreys have all signed long term deals over the past few months.

Henson has played for the Ospreys since they were created in 2003, and has over 80 caps. He is the leading points scorer, and is second in table for number of tries scored. As well as this, he has been capped 28 times for wales, including playing in 2 grand slams.

The Ospreys seem to be going through a large amount of consolidation at the moment, with 12 played of long term deals, and a lot of loyalty by players at the club, it will be interesting to see how the Ospreys do this year.
