Discounts available for All Blacks v Barbarians at Twickenham

Rugby fans are often hard pressed to attend the matches they want due to increasingly high ticket prices. Some games, such as internationals, can costs hundreds of pounds if you’re desperate enough to go and end up buying rugby match tickets on eBay.

An international at the end of year however offers the option of cheap tickets. The game is to be played at Twickenham, and is between the New Zealand All Blacks and the Barbarians. The match takes place in December, on the 5th, this year.

The game represents the fifth time that the Barbarians have played the All Blacks at the home of English rugby, with the All Blacks winning their last encounter.

Richie McCaw is the New Zealand captain, and represented the Barbarians himself last year when the played the Aussies. He said of the match:

I had a great time playing for the Barbarians last year and to now get the opportunity to play against them is going to be pretty special. Matches like this are rare and as there is such a long tradition of matches between the All Blacks and the Barbarians, it’s going to be huge for the team.

Paul Vaughan of the RFU said of how discount vouchers are being offered to those who buy tickets for the game.
