Dallaglio cited by RFU and banned by club

Lawrence Dallaglio has been banned for a week by his club, Wasps, after the RFU decided to cite him for a suspected punch on Julian White, the Leicester Prop.

This is the first time that Dallaglio has been cited, and it brings a slight tarnish to an other wise almost exemplary career (anyone remember the whole England captaincy issue a few years back???), as he is retiring at the end of the season.

We will miss the big man once he leaves, but I guess that happens to all the greats - their time comes and they must leave the pitch for the last time.
