Chris Czekaj recovers from Broken Leg

Cardiff Blues

Chris Czekaj, the Welsh winger, has recovered from an injured leg - it was broken in 5 places - and is going to start for Cardiff Blues tomorrow.  Czekaj fractured his right femur playing for Wales in their tour of Australia last year.  It was an unfortunate injury - his boot got caught in the mud as he was tackled by Australian hooker Stephen Moore, and his leg twisted badly.  It was so bad, that the doctor who operated on him said that he had only seen two breaks as bad, and they were both the results of motorbike accidents.

It is always good to see injured players get back to playing again, rather than having to retire.  Lets hope that he gets though tomorrow 100% and that we see him playing for Wales again soon.
