Ashton Rejects Job Offer By RFU

Since having been sacked from the position of Head Coach of the England rugby team earlier in the year, Brian Ashton’s job prospects were unknown, there were rumours that he was going to accept the offer of his old job as head of the National Academy. However, Brain Ashton has rejected that offer and is now starting his own company - SCD South West Ltd. It is going to provide services for sports and business. As well as this, Ashton is going to provide some consulting services to the RFU, providing help with elite coaching and coach development.

While Ashton has been slated by many people, I think it is important to remember that he did guide England to their best 6 nations result since 2003 and to the final of the world cup.
